Dr. Hannah Basch grew up in eastern Connecticut and earned her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from the University of Connecticut. During her undergraduate studies, she gained extensive animal experience working as a veterinary technician, assisting with dairy cattle research, and volunteering at local animal shelters. Dr. Basch went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts, completing her clinical training year at the University of Florida. She has a special professional interest in soft tissue surgery and enjoys the hands-on, problem-solving aspects of surgical care. After graduating, she returned to the Northeast and is excited to begin her career as a small animal veterinarian at Saugus Animal Hospital.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Basch enjoys reading and spending time with her own two cats, Panini and Josey Wales.
