Urgent care Services during normal business hours
Saugus Animal Hospital is a general care practice, much like your primary care physician's office.
We see patients by appointment, but we are able to triage our patients who require immediate care, on a case-by-case basis during our normal business hours.
If your pet has an injury or illness that needs immediate attention during our office hours, please call the hospital, and we will advise you.
**Voicemails left after we close will not be heard until the next business day.**
Depending upon the nature of your pet's needs, we may instruct you to come here, or to proceed directly to a 24-hour specialty hospital.
Please understand that if your pet is seen here, and his/her condition requires hospitalization, intensive care, or specialty care, the doctor will recommend a facility that is equipped to provide that specialized care.
You can reach us at (781) 570-5751. Call now if you have an urgent situation with your pet during normal business hours.
Please be aware that we have a staff meeting every Thursday from 1:00-2:30pm. Though our voicemail system will pick up the phone, we are in the building and are available to help your pet. Please ring the bell at the front door in case of an emergency during this time.
Urgent Care Facilities & 24-Hour ER/Specialty Hospitals

Please remember to list us as your regular veterinarian, as we will be notified after any of our patients are seen at these facilities.
