Retired – Dr. Karin Anderson, DVM

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

Biography

To all of our clients and friends, after 32 years here at Saugus Animal Hospital, Dr. Anderson has retired. As we and her clients know, Dr. Anderson has always been willing to go the extra mile for her patients, especially our senior cats & dogs. Her hilarious sense of humor and willingness to break out into song always makes our day brighter, and our hospital won’t be the same without her! Although we miss her terribly, we wish her nothing but the best in retirement and many happy days on the golf course ahead! Please join us in congratulating her on this next step, and read her parting words below:

“Dear Saugus Animal Hospital Community, With much consideration and thoughtfulness, I am announcing my retirement from Saugus Animal Hospital effective in July 2025. It has been a pleasure to come to know and care for so many beautiful patients and their guardians over the last 32 years. You will be in great hands with the awesome team at Saugus. I wish you all good health! Sincerely, Dr. Karin Anderson”

Dr. Anderson joined the Saugus Animal Hospital team after graduating from the Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. In January 2007, Dr. Anderson began her own house call practice with a special interest in senior pets. She is available for appointments at the hospital on a regular basis. When appropriate, her patients will be admitted at Saugus Animal Hospital. Please feel free to call the hospital if you would like to arrange for a house call visit or to make an appointment to see her at the hospital.
