Patty, CVT

Patty joined the SAH team over thirty years ago after obtaining an Associates Degree in Animal Science.  She has been a Certified Veterinary Technician for over 25 years as well as being the hospital's Office Manager.  Patty enjoys working with our feline patients, particularly those we fondly refer to as Nana and Grampy kitties (the geriatrics).  Her home is shared with 2 kitties; Bizzy a very busy black and white little girl and Dash a handsome orange & white tabby..  When not working Patty practices Yoga, enjoys a large and extended family, attending live theater (community and professional), gardening, photography, travel, the Red Sox & especially the Patriots.  


Trisha, CVT


Trisha started working as a technician in 1991 and joined our team in 1995.  Since then she has passed the Veterinary Technician National Examination and obtained her Certification in 2003.  She has a passion for pit bulls and enjoys working with our more challenging canine friends.  Trisha has also become our unofficial technical wizard.  She's the first one we tell when we have computer or equipment failures. She spends her spare time with her husband and 2 children and shares her home with 3 cats Fritz , Charlie and Monster as well as Darby a retriever mix from a rescue group in the south.

 

 Traci, CVT

Traci has been a technician since 1991 and has been with Saugus Animal Hospital since 1997. She has her B.S. in Biology and moved to MA to attend graduate school, where she earned her M.S. in Neurobiology and Animal Physiology. Traci is a also involved with Commonwealth Cats Inc, a non-profit organization that spays, neuters and vaccinates feral cats in MA. When she is not working, she is busy cat sitting, doing yoga, gardening or watching the Red Sox and Patriots with her husband and 8 cats!

Amy,CVT

Amy has been a member of our staff since January 2005.  She is a lifelong resident of Saugus, with a background in education, and 5 years of experience working at a local animal shelter.  She is a dog person at heart, but has also raised a variety of reptiles over the years, and is knowledgeable in the care and handling of snakes and lizards.  Amy has received extensive on the job training and passed the Veterinary Technician National Exam in 2006.  In April of 2013, Amy completed all the requirements for her certification.  In addition to her full time position here, she owns and operated the Tiger Institute Tae Kwon Do studio in Saugus.  She has been training in the martial arts since 1987 and holds a 3rd degree black belt.  Amy is frequently accompanied at work by Jenny, a scruffy terrier mix, whom she rescued in a parking lot in Puerto Rico.  She also has to "differently-abled" cats, Henrietta and Iris, who were both adopted as injured strays.

 

Arleia, CVT

Arleia joined our staff in the Spring of 2009 as a Technician's Assistant.  She graduated from North Shore Community College with a degree in Veterinary Technology in 2012 and passed the VTNE (Veterinary Technician National Exam) in August 2012.  Arleia is now a Certified Technician!  When not working   she enjoys spending time with her two dogs, helping on her family farm and time with her horse Jake.
